About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to join a leading, trusted heavy vehicle repair centre located in Adelaide, SA. Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a range of heavy vehicles including trucks, trailers, buses, and machinery (Isuzu, Hino, Volvo, etc.).
Service and repair engines, brakes, clutches, suspension, power steering, and electrical systems.
Conduct wheel alignments, brake roller tests, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards (NHVR, WHS).
Attend to field service jobs and occasional roadside breakdowns.
Complete service documentation accurately and communicate technical issues clearly to clients and team members.
Mentor apprentices and contribute to a positive and productive workshop environment.

Qualifications & Experience
Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Heavy Vehicle Technician.
Proven ability to work with a variety of heavy vehicle brands.
Strong diagnostic skills, including proficiency with scan tools.
A valid driver's licence (HR preferred).
Desired: Forklift licence and/or ARC licence for air conditioning work.
Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Heavy Vehicle Technician.
Proven ability to work with a variety of heavy vehicle brands.

Salary & Benefits
Salary: An annual salary in the range of AUD $75,000 – $90,000, commensurate with your skills and experience.
Superannuation: 11.5% of your ordinary time earnings, which is scheduled to increase to 12% from 1 July 2025.
Annual Leave: 4 weeks of paid annual leave per year.
Sick & Carer's Leave: 10 days of paid personal/carer's leave per year.
Work Hours: Stable, regular working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:06 PM.
Incentives: Performance-based incentives and genuine opportunities for career advancement.
Relocation & Housing
Relocation Assistance: Relocation assistance is not offered as standard but may be negotiable for an exceptional candidate.
Housing: Please note that housing is not included with this position.
